Do's & Dont's
Don’t worry, there aren’t too many things to remember.
- Do enjoy yourself.
- Don’t wear all black or blue with white (as per Dress Code info).
- For the Wedding Banquet we would advise guests from using foul language when in the company of other guests.
- Table etiquette:
- It is polite to wait for all guests to be seated before you commence eating.
- Please refrain from using your hands to pick-up food from the main dish, instead please use the cutlery provided (e.g. when eating lobster, please use the fork or spoon provided to serve the food, you are more than welcome to eat with your hands once the food is on your own plate).
- It is good custom to pick-up and serve food for other guests (i.e. don’t be put off if a guest serves food on your plate or bowl).
- Please do not be afraid to ask for alternative cutlery if you are unfamiliar with chopsticks – just ask a member of staff.
